Loungers are supremely soft, organic brushed cotton lounge trousers and shorts that are both ethical and versatile. Our Loungers are double stitched and pattern matched and designed to be timeless and sustainable with deep pockets for necessities.

No unethical manufacturing processes and really just simple environmentally friendly comfort and great design designed for men, women and children

Designed my myself and manufactured in Portugal, they are unique and in sizes for men, women and children. In naming our designs we decided to use the names of endangered species so that in some small way it might increase awareness – who knew that the Turtle Dove was critically endangered?

Our mission is to work responsibly with our suppliers towards a more socially and environmentally conscious future so we only partner with ethical suppliers who share our values.  Our organic cotton is Global Organic Textile Standard Certified. This means it is grown without the use of synthetic fertilisers or toxic pesticides and that it also meets the social criteria based on the International Labour Organisation.

In trying to limit our use of plastics, we found a completely natural, environmentally-friendly alternative for our iconic Loungers buttons – Corozo. Hard -wearing and with each and every button having a unique grain, our Corozo is sourced from the Tagua tree, grown in carefully managed rainforests in Ecuador.

Loungers works on a circular economy, encouraging customers to return worn Loungers so they can be upcycled and sent to Kenya to be distributed to areas of both rural and urban poverty where people young and old would love to give them a new beginning.

Each year we manufacture a design from which all of the profit goes to nominated charity. For the first year we teamed with Horatio’s Garden, last year we collaborated with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and this year we will be working with Safe Lives.
